What are you thankful for?

So with everything that has been going on in my life the past day I thought I would sit down a make a list of all the things I am thankful for.

First and foremost I am beyond thankful for my son without him I don’t know where I would be in life so with that I love you Caden.

Second I am thankful for my job though only part-time I work with the most amazing people.

And third I’m thankful to have a guardian angel watching over me, even in chaos I can still ground myself and have a sense of calm. (OR at least try.)

Though my list may be small, I do have something to be thankful for and in that I am grateful.

So tell me what are some things you are thankful for?

Rainy day, coffee, and thoughts.

Good morning everyone and happy Friday. I am writing you on another very rainy day in Sacramento while sipping on my yummy warm coffee out of my very pink hello kitty coffee mug also while trying not to cough my head off (yes I am sick again and this time my body isn’t shaking it. 😯) I thought I would send you all my very warm wishes for a safe and joyful holiday.  I also wanted to share with you guys an amazing fitness app that I discovered lately it’s called pump up. ( I will insert a screen shot of it here.)

image

It is almost like the instagram of fitness apps but with more motivation and inspiration. It is free on the android app store and I believe also on the iPhone as well. I also have to say that I have an amazing feeling about 2015 I just recently finished my volunteer work at the agency I was at and have nothing but positive vibes and positive feelings about what’s to come. I keep repeating the quote “when one door closes, another one opens.” And I really believe that to be the case. I am very thankful for everything that agency has taught me not so much technical but within myself.

Well I hope you all have an amazing, joyfull, and relaxing holiday. Remember the only thing that matters is family the rest is just details. Make amazing memories everyone.

Love and hugs from my home to your’s.

Crafting!

Good morning everyone and happy Sunday. I hope you have all had an amazing weekend and just wanted to share what I have been up to this weekend. I just recently taught myself how to crochet those cute little cup cozies after burning my hand on my cup of coffee at work last week and now let’s just say I am addicted to making them. (Below I will post a few pictures of the ones I have made so far.) What I didn’t realize though was how calming and relaxing it is to crochet and how rewarding it is once I finish one. I have been under a huge amount of stress with the holidays coming up but this has eased the stress a bit.

Well I hope you all have an amazing rest of the weekend and a peaceful week to come.

Love and hugs from my home to your’s.

Happy Thanksgiving! 🍗🍜🍗

Good afternoon everyone, and happy thanksgiving.  I hope you are all having a peaceful thanksgiving home with your families making amazing memories that you can look back on the following year. I also wanted to stop by and reflect on this past year. I feel that today is a great day to look back on the years events and be thankful for those events that have brought us all to where we are today. Have you ever stopped to think back on a certain event in your life and wondered how your life would have turned out had that one event happened differently? Every event, every experience, good or bad has brought you to the exact moment you are at right now. Every event is a life lessons and every life lessons brings you to exactly where you need to be.

Well I hope you all have a very peaceful day. Fill your day with memories with loved ones and fill your bellies with a bountiful feast.

Happy Thanksgiving,

Love and hugs from my home to your’s.

Good morning!

image

Good morning from a rainy city everyone, so I have been feeling really down about my fitness I feel like I have hit a plateau and not budging, I have been changing my diet even more and adding more fitness to my regime. However I do know I have been making some kind of progress as the new boots that I bought fit a lot better than they did when I originally bought them which made me super excited that I can now wear those for my birthday dinner date night with my boyfriend on the 29th. speaking of which this is a major mile stone for me as I have never been on an actual date so I am super excited and actually looking forward to my birthday this year.

Well I hope you all have an amazing, pleasant, peaceful, and dry Wednesday.

Love and hugs from my home to your’s.

Set back! 😩 :| 😓

Good morning everyone and happy Sunday.  So I just wanted to say I have been fighting my own demons on the fitness front. I have had a major set back and have just had so much on my plate that I never seem to be able to get to the gym. I have been wanting and craving the gym here lately but the end of the day comes sooner then I want, and now my allergies are bugging me like crazy. I have been so happy with my life here lately but the only thing I am not happy with is my horrible fitness and health decisions.

Hopefully I can get to the gym today but if not I hope I can at least workout at home.

I hope you all have an amazing, relaxing, and healthy Sunday.

Love and hugs from my home to your’s.

Happy Post Halloween 🎃💀👻

Good morning everyone and happy Saturday. My life has been a whirlwind of events. I am happy to say that I have my entire family back. I can not even begin to explain how amazing that feels.  I have also started knitting I taught myself Sunday, so as of now I have 3 projects going I have started knitting a scarf for Caden, I am crocheting a pair of arm warmers for myself, and I am still working on my book. I have also snatched up a bargain from our local 99 cent store, a pair of light suede knee high high heel boots for only $2 and they are absolutely comfortable.  Last night we went out trick or treating and Caden had a blast, we noticed there weren’t very many kids out as it was raining and really cold.

Well I hope you all have a peaceful, relaxing, and fun Saturday.

Love and hugs from my home to your’s.

What have I been up to? 🌞

Good morning everyone and happy Monday.  So I know it has been a while since I have done a blog post, but here are some of the things I have been up to. I retaught myself how to crochet (there are 2 things my mom taught me before she passed away the first one was how to write and not only how to write but to write from your heart,  but also how to crochet.) I also taught myself how to knit yesterday. (Have never been taught before.) I am still writing my book however I did take a break from it this weekend as I am a bit stuck at the moment but am hoping to get back into it today.

Halloween is only a few days away and I have been so busy putting together trick or treat bags and still getting my son’s costume together.

Well I hope you all have an amazing, wonderful, blissful Monday.

Love and hugs from my home to your’s.

Sunday funday!

Good morning everyone and happy Sunday! So yesterday’s trip to the pumpkin patch was a major success. Caden had so much fun and couldn’t stop talking about the tractor ride. We picked out our pumpkins and some produce from the market including a bag of the famous sweet and delicious slough house corn that I can’t wait to cook and eat.

I am also so happy that our carport is finally finished so today is going to be so busy with a ton of places to go.

Well I hope you all have an amazing, peaceful, and relaxing Sunday.

Love and hugs from my home to your’s.

Pumpkin Patch here we come.

Good morning everyone, and happy Saturday.  As I sit in the car heading to the pumpkin patch with my son in the back I can’t help but reflect back on last year when we went and how many great pictures I got. This is my absolutely favorite time of the year, the colors are just so vivid and the weather is cooler and the spirit is high.

Well I hope you all have an amazing and color filled Saturday.

Love and hugs from my home to your’s.
