It’s almost September!

Good morning everyone, and happy Saturday. I can’t believe we are coming to the end of another month and another season. Fall is just right around the corner and I can smell it in the air. The night are becoming cooler and crisp and the days are becoming shorter, the leaves on the trees are starting to change and the sunsets are more magical.

This season definitely feels like it’s going to be a magical one at that. I have an amazing feeling about this half of the year.

I also wanted to say that my back is feel much better than it did on Monday. Yesterday we took a tour of the state capital and I was in awww the whole time we sat in on an assembly and a legislature meeting and it was the most amazing thing I had ever witnessed. There are beautiful paintings and sculptures strewn throughout the 5 floors of the capital and the rotunda oh the rotunda, it is absolutely amazing and beautiful.

I also took a visit to the Vietnam memorial and the feeling there even after years is one of somber silence, while my son and dad were over eating lunch on the law of the capital I took a walk through the rose garden and was shocked at the beauty this garden holds. Types and colors of roses that I have never seen before and the smell made me feel like I was in Alice in Wonderland.

Well I hope you all have an amazing, safe, adventurous, and pleasant weekend.

Love and hugs from my home to your’s.

Took a bit of a break.

Good morning everyone and happy Sunday. I am glad to say I am back I so needed a bit of a break to process all the craziness that has been going on, but I do want to update all of you I have been working on the children’s book I have been writing and it is coming along nicely I did take a break from writing for a little while but that only made what I wrote that much better.

The weather here has been amazing and beautiful the past 2 days I have been taking my little guy to the park and just being out in nature and watching him run and play has done wonders for my spirit.

We also woke up this morning to some very scary news that we had a magnitude 6.0 earthquake 48 miles from us in Napa and watching the news there is so much damage and so many injuries. I am sending my thoughts and prayers to all of those who were affected by this earthquake.

Well I hope you all are having an amazing, peaceful, and safe weekend.

Love and hugs from my home to your’s.
